Valentine Women & Children Organization (VAWOCO) is a community–based organization (CBO) that strives to bring youths and women from challenged background and those that are vulnerable into a local network to enhance their capacities through diverse empowerment programs especially in areas of health and education. We partner with different organizations and broader communities in achieving our objectives. Some of the objectives that the organization has been working under include:
Identify and support vulnerable under five year children.
Identify and provide support for vulnerable single parent women and under-age mothers.
Identify and provide adult education training to needy young single women and children.
To undertake such social amenity projects as children’s homes, destitute home centers and provision of contingency alms, without boundaries when and where need arises.
To engage in community centered social economic development projects of both minor and major magnitudes.
Doing good and caring for others
Don't withhold good from someone who deserves it, when it is in your power to do so.
Those who are gracious to the poor lend to the Lord, and the Lord will fully repay them.
Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have because God is pleased with these kinds of sacrifices
